The diagnosis

What does your
program score?

Vorlift reads a program and scores it out of 100. Here's what it makes of the great classics — and of one of ours — the verdict is free, the fixes are Pro.

Push / Pull / Legs Excellent 95
Upper / Lower Excellent 91
Glutes & lower body Solid 85
Full Body Solid 82

12 weighted axes, and every criticism ranked by severity. It isn't an opinion, it's a calculation — one you can read back, line by line.

Full Body 3×, the great gym-floor classic, tops out at 82.
Yours isn't on this list? That's exactly the point.

A Full Body A/B/C analysed in the app, as a free user sees it: 82 out of 100, SOLID tier, five strengths listed, then the “Vorlift Pro only” card.
The same verdict, inside the app. Free, like here.

The verdict is free. What your program is missing, and exactly what to add — that's Vorlift Pro. Your score, your tier and your strengths never cost a thing.

Get yours scored on day one

You log everything. Loads, reps, how each set felt — months of careful data. And at the next session the question is still wide open: how much do I put on? Your tracker doesn't answer. It never has. That's where Vorlift starts.

The engine

Adding weight
isn't a decision.

Three real situations, three different answers. That's exactly where a tracker stops.

Session 12 · Bench press

Three full sets at 62.5 kg, two of them rated EASY. The margin is there, and it has been for two sessions.

Move up 65 kg
Session 13 · Barbell row

Second session without gaining a rep, and the last set came up short. Nothing alarming — but nothing to force either.

Hold 70 kg
Week 4 · The whole block

Fourth week in a row of rising load. Fatigue is piling up faster than strength — the deload was planned.

Back off −10 %

Two clocks, never just one.

How you show up today For each muscle: how long since it last worked, and what you've asked of it lately relative to your own habit. It keeps the least fresh one, never the average.

Your block Where you are in the cycle — “week 3 of 4” — and when the deload lands. It eases off exercise by exercise, and says why.

The first two cases above read the former. The third reads the latter. Feeling good on a deload day isn't the plan failing — it's the plan working.

An exercise mid-session: last time 2465 kg over 4 sets, today's suggestion 2805 kg, nothing logged yet, and the first set flagged “Reps +1”.
The decision, at the moment it is made.

And every time, it tells you why. A decision you don't understand is just one more number.

Which leaves the question “decides” raises for anyone ten years in — and where does that leave me?

Your reading feeds its own.

Every suggested load is pre-filled, never imposed. You write down what you actually did — and that, and nothing else, is what counts.

Nor is it a sensor judging your set: it's you. A set rated EASY doesn't weigh the same as one rated HARD, and that reading is what the engine picks up for next time.

And it isn't a workout generator: Vorlift doesn't replace your program with its own. It's your program, refereed — and every call is explained.

How it felt · set 3
3 62.5 kg × 8
EASY MODERATE HARD

You're the one who just called it. The next suggestion will take that into account — and will tell you it did.

A rule that can't prove itself on real data is not switched on. Even when it sounds obvious. This isn't a pose, it's a method. A return-from-a-break detection was written, tested against a real training history, disproved by the numbers — and left switched off.

The analysis

It shows its work.
Not a dashboard.

Half of what Pro charges for is what the engine produces — and a number you can't interrogate is worth nothing.

A record you never attempted.

Your estimated record is computed from every set, from your load and your reps — without ever asking you to attempt a max. You get a curve and a trend per exercise, where a tracker can only hand you back the list of what you typed in.

Next to it, your volume per muscle. And here the page owes you precision: it is not a target. The app shows a usual range, never a line to cross — and its explanation says plainly what it's worth. The direction is settled, the numbers are not.

No bar fills up, no quota waits for you. A number that turns into a score stops describing your training and starts distorting it.

An exercise screen: e1RM 95 kg, all-time PR 75 kg, best set 70 kg × 10, and the estimated-1RM curve over sixteen weeks — it dips at the deload, then flattens.
The estimated record, and its curve
Volume per muscle: for the back, 6 sets per week, usual range 8 to 20. No progress bar, no target.
Volume as a range — not a target

And none of it reads by colour alone: every signal also carries a shape, a word or a number — the two screens above show you as much. It's a rule held by a test, not a good intention.

An indicator that can't state its own margin is not a measurement. “Between sets” doesn't claim to measure your rest: it measures from one logged set to the next, so your rest and the execution of the following set. The app doesn't know the second you pick the bar back up — it tells you rather than guessing.

The workshop

The details you only
notice in the gym.

A brain is no excuse for a sloppy logbook. Five proofs — the ones that separate a tidy app from one you keep.

The machine is taken.

Swap it, and it follows.

Alternatives come ranked by closeness: same movement on different equipment first, then the same pattern, then the same muscle. And if the exercise was in a superset, the replacement stays in it.

63 kg, on this bar.

That can't be loaded. Here's what can.

Instead of an impossible number, the two loads you can actually make on either side of it — tappable. It knows six bars, the frame weight of machines, and the single-pin ones where plates don't split in two.

63 kg 62.5 kg 65 kg
The screen went dark.

The alert still comes.

App frozen, app killed: it rings. Sixteen sounds to choose from, all calibrated at alarm level and matched to each other, with a mode that keeps insisting until you stop it. On Android, the countdown stays readable in the status bar, lock screen included.

You're pairing two exercises.

It counts rounds, not lines.

Rest disappears between the two halves of a round and comes back in full between rounds. It works out the type on its own — same muscle, that's a compound set — and the two exercises stay welded together in the session.

A1A2rest A1A2rest
The session is over.

It gives you a range. Because that's all it knows.

The usual formula counts the whole hour as effort, rest included — that's what doubles the number. Vorlift splits it up: effort time comes from your reps, rest time comes from the timer, and everything else — walking, loading plates, waiting — is counted separately. It knows two things nobody else has: your measured rest, set by set, and what each set actually cost you.

230 – 400 kcal
Effort 24 min Rest 31 min Everything else 9 min

How wide it is, is the message: it tightens when you time your rest and rate your sets. And without your bodyweight it doesn't guess — it says nothing. An observation, not nutritional advice.

No session is thrown away.

Hevy and Strong leave the session title free; on our side it's filed by type. That's the real sticking point — not exercise names. A title we can't file gives a session with no type, never a lost session. And when two types would fit, we don't guess.

The same file twice does nothing.

The import is idempotent: run it as often as you like, nothing duplicates. Your real dates are kept, your warm-ups stay warm-ups, and your supersets and drop sets come through intact.

Questions

The questions
still standing.

Beginner, does it help? Advanced, does it box me in?

Both go through the same mechanics: every decision is explained, so a beginner learns while training. And nothing is ever imposed — an advanced lifter corrects it with one tap, and that correction is what counts.

I already use Hevy or Strong. Why move?

Because a tracker logs, and stops there. Vorlift reads what you did and decides what comes next, with its reasoning. And your history comes with you: the import is free, everything is shown before it's written, nothing is lost.

Is this like Fitbod?

No. A generator replaces your program with its own, without saying why. Vorlift keeps your program and referees it, decision by decision, with the reason for each one. And it all runs on your phone.

iPhone or Android?

Both, in four languages. One difference we own up to today: the rest countdown in the status bar is Android only.

What about my watch?

Not yet. The phone first, done properly.

What does it cost?

The logbook is free, unlimited, forever — export included. The decisions and the analysis are Pro. Prices will be shown here when the stores open.

Soon.
And you can be there on day one.

Pre-registration opens shortly on both stores: the day Vorlift ships, it installs itself. Nothing to leave here — not even an email address. The store is what tells you, not us: we have nowhere to keep it, and that's exactly as it should be.

Vorlift is built by someone who trains, not by an app factory. The engine is tested against a real training history — and a rule that fails the test stays switched off, even when it sounds obvious. The scores on this page come out of the engine, checked automatically on every change.
