Privacy policy
In one sentence
Vorlift collects nothing. Your workouts, your body weight and your settings stay on your phone. They are sent to no server — not ours, not anyone's.
This is not an intention, it is a technical property: in its published version, the app has no Internet permission on Android. It cannot transmit your data.

What data exists, and where it is
All the data below is stored only in your device's memory, in the app's private storage.

We have access to none of this data. We do not see it, store it, or receive it.
There is no account
Vorlift asks for no sign-up, no e-mail address, no password. You have no account with us, so there is nothing to delete on our side.
There is no automatic cloud backup
Android's automatic backup has been deliberately disabled. Your data therefore does not go to any online storage, not even your own account's.
In return, backing up is your responsibility: the app includes an export feature and reminds you to use it. An exported file is an ordinary file on your device — it only leaves your device if you share it, and it then goes wherever you send it.
Health data
Your body weight, your loads and your perceived effort may be regarded as health-related data, which enjoys stronger protection. That is precisely why the app is designed so that this data does not travel: it never leaves your device, and we are never its recipient.
Advertising, tracking, resale
None of the three. Vorlift shows no ads, embeds no advertising tracker, and neither sells nor shares any data — we have none to sell.
Notifications
Notifications (end of rest, reminders) are produced locally by your device. They go through no online messaging service.
Crash reports
We embed no third-party crash-reporting tool.
If the app crashes, Google Play or Apple may send us an anonymous technical report — call stack, device model, OS version. This depends on your system's diagnostic settings, which you control, not on the app. These reports contain none of your training data.
Your rights
The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) gives you rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability and objection over your personal data.
Here, these rights are exercised directly on your device, without going through us:
- Access your data and take it with you: the app's export feature produces a readable file.
- Rectify: anything you entered can be edited in the app.
- Erase: deleting a session, or uninstalling the app, erases the data concerned. Uninstalling is final — hence the importance of exporting.
For any question, write to hello@vorlift.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr), or with the supervisory authority of your country of residence.
Age
Vorlift is intended for adults and is not designed for children. Strength training for minors calls for supervision that the app does not replace.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page is updated. A change that altered what the app collects would be announced in the app, not only here.
